Speaking of Olde School Barleywine, I was wondering why you guys don't get other big DFH beers (though most are "big"...) like world wide stout, 120 minute, Fort... Or maybe you have gotten small supplies that just sell out fast?

Hey Nick,

Unfortunately Vermont still has an ABV cap for beer. A couple years ago that cap was raised from 8% to 16%, but that still leaves out 120 Minute, Fort and WWS which all come in over 16% ABV. Olde School has been the highest ABV beer we've seen come through the door and it ages wonderfully! Shaun Hill and I drank one from his cellar from 2005 recently and it's beautiful!

Hopefully someday Prohibition will end in Vermont...

Ah, ok, I come from Ohio where the cap is 12%, so I was wondering if it was something similar.

At least it's not 8%... yikes.
